Sure it feels like you're getting less bang for your console buck, since you buy a console for exclusives, but it's not going to prevent you from enjoying the game any less: at least it's still scheduled to launch on your PS3 system.

Being a devoted Nintendo Fanboy (who is dealing with his own E3 woes at the moment), I can't feel TOO sorry for ya, but I do feel for you. Sony's been dropping the ball in the games department ever since launch. Sure they're making some gains right now, but aside from war themed FPS eclusives (which I'm not really a fan of), they've got not too much going for them that the 360 doesn't have more of.

Though I can't really talk right now as my "kiddie console" isn't doing much to shake that goddamn reputation right about now. We've got DEAD RISING coming soon! That's... cool, right? I have to say though, I am pumped about Animal Crossing.

Also, sorry to hear things weren't going as planned for you, but it's good to hear things are looking up and we'll be seeing more sweet strips, man! Take it easy and good luck with that PS3.

Oh man, Sony's conference was just depressing. 80 GIG HD final SKU "no more PSX Backward compadability", a rental service that's not even as close as cool as 360's Netflix deal, and Little Big Planet, pushed waaay back again. Everything that 360 had at their conference just rocked and nothing shocked more people then the Final Fantasy thing. Hell, Square Enix didn't even have enough time to remove the "Exclusively for PS3" thing from their trailer lol.

Just like you, I'm not much of a fan of FPS. So all I can do now is just stare at my PS3 and hoping that I don't get sick of MGS4 until another AAA title pops up... which looks like another good 6-8 months.

But yeah, Wii had way more going for it at E3 then Sony. 1:1 full Wii-mote, dear god finally! Just picturing the next Zelda with full 1:1... *drool*

Yeah, 360 definitely won E3 this year as far as press conferences go. I've been dying to get one for the last year. GTAIV was has made it almost unbarable to not have one. So much so that I had to go out and buy Bully for the Wii to get my Rockstar free-roam fix. Haha!
The Wii Motion Plus does have me excited though. I've been telling people that the Wii was going to have make their motion sensing since I kept losing WarioWare mini games because of impercise control. I'm really pumped for the new Zelda/Star Wars with the 1:1.
The main game I'm simply drooling over right now though is the new Prince of Persia! It looks TOO good. It's giving me pangs of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus and that's always a great thing. Check out this tralier: [link]

I know right? I own both ICO/SoC, so it'll be interesting to see a real action engine from PoP implimented into that style of gameplay. I mean, you can only do so much with a random piece of lumber lol.

Man, I feel for you.

Well, I've been a 360 guy since the next generation was a reality, so I'm not feeling too much of the heat, except for the fact that the Xbox 360 SUCKS from a technical standpoint. It's glitchy, it's almost guaranteed to break after you've had it for a year or two, and the online costs eighty bucks a year, or something.

Each system has its ups and downs, and each one brings something to the table that the others don't. With a PS3, you get most of the good games (even if they AREN'T exclusives), you get a few that are worth buying a PS3 just to play (Heavenly Sword, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Resistance and Resistance 2), and you get to look forward to years of your console working properly. Not to mention that you get to play Home, when and if it actually comes out.

And, hey, I wanna catch up on PT! Hurry yo bitch ass up.
